Since the rigors of graduate school don't leave much time for outside employment, I'll be searching for a part-time job in the near future. And what better part-time job can you find than one that pays health benefits and several thousand dollars towards tuition and fees??? The problem is that this sort of job is a rarity...unless you're near a Starbucks or UPS.
Living in Seattle, I should have Starbucks covered, but from what I hear, those Seattleites (?) want their Lattes perfect and they want them fast. On the other hand, driving for UPS is not a bad option: plenty of time to ponder my class material, beautiful scenery out the window, and best of all...that oh-so-sweet uniform...

Speaking from a former Starbucks consumer in the Seattle area...the employees that work there are "professional career people"...they consider it an art form and take it seriously! I would hesitate to go that route unless you're planning on making Mars Hill your secondary focus!
